After months of falling off track with my goals for making money online, I went out searching for some ways to organize my thoughts and motivate myself again by setting up a clear plan of attack and came across something called mind mapping. I remember doing something similar in Creative Writing when brainstorming but hadn’t thought about it really since. I mean, who knew I’d actually use something I learned in school someday?? Freemind is a unique open source mind mapping application that can help you organize your making money online goals, increase your productivity and better visualize your projects - whether they are creating a blogging empire, opening up an online store, selling domains or affiliate programs. I have been using mine to map out all of the websites and blogs I am working on by breaking them up into seperate “nodes” (the ovals) and then branching off each node with things I need to do such as marketing and seo tasks or just general brainstorming ideas. Give yourself deadlines and load them into a calendar like Google Calendar to increase your productivity and even more to stay on track.
