The past few months have been very stressful in my personal life and didn’t allow me to pursue my making money online goals as much as I would have liked. However, I have manged to remove some major stressers from my life so that I can become more focused. One major change is that I decided to get a full-time job. Now, that was not exactly an easy decision after months of freelancing from home in my bathrobe! See, the thing is is that my time was too consumed with “bread and butter” projects for other people and by the time I had all my ducks in a row with my projects that needed my attention to pay my bills, I had no energy or time to work on my own stuff! In fact, my pagerank on the blog recently went down to a PR3 from a PR4 which is proof that this blog just wasn’t getting my full attention…poor lil’ blog
SO, I figure by working during the day elsewhere for a steady paycheck, I have now freed up my evenings and weekends for creating websites and a steady income online so that I can quit the day job when the internet is actually making me a steady, significant income, not the $1,500-$2,000/month it did this summer. Sure, it seems like a nice chunk but it wasn’t enough for a peace of mind yet. At least now I can have my head clearer and I know alot more now about making money online and have seen what works and what doesn’t…it’s just a matter of taking it to the next level and implementing which was a little difficult when I was spending 12+ hours a day working on other people’s logos, websites and paid posts! Chump change, please
With that, expect more frequent posts here and progess updates as I make my way out on to the field again
Now, lets recap this post in sloooow motion and what have we learned kids?
DON’T QUIT YOUR JOB FOR MAKING MONEY ONLINE OR FREELANCING UNTIL YOU ARE MAKING DOUBLE YOUR CURRENT INCOME ON A STEADY BASIS!

I’m one of your original cashcrate members (signed up with your affil id months ago) and have been following your blog ever since.
I know how hard it can be to work a full time day job and continue trudging along online.
Soon you will begin daydreaming at work and losing focus if you aren’t careful.
I wish you best of luck and will definitely be keeping up with your future endeavors!
And now you’re at a PR 0, along with myself and all the other bloggers out there that offered sponsored posts and TLA
.
eek. i was a pr4, then pr3 and now i’m at a 0? were you on my front page?
