I joined Review Me about one month ago and was finally paid to write a review of a company on my blog last week! I admit it was a good feeling to finally be able to take advantage of this money making area of sponsored posts. I also submitted my blog to the other popular site PayPerPost but my blog was rejected because it isn’t quite 90 days old yet so I’ll resubmit in a couple weeks.

Here are the main differences with the two big players in the sponsored post arena:

• PayPerPost allows you to choose from open offers from advertisers to review for while at Review Me you have to wait for advertisers to come to you.

• PayPerPost only takes 10% while Review Me takes a hefty 50% cut.

• PayPerPost pay outs are less because they have looser requirements for blogs to be approved while Review Me pays out more because they have stricter requirements for blogs such as PageRank which entices advertisers to pay more.

As you can see, there are some pros and cons to both sites. I think if you have an established blog, you have more money making opportunities at Review Me, even with their 50% cut. However if your blog is relatively new and doesn’t receive much traffic yet then PayPerPost is probably your best bet.
