As someone who is recovering from credit card debt, I don’t usually go around encouraging people to apply for credit cards…unless there’s a good reason! If you have your credit card spending habits under control and are looking to build credit by obtaining new credit cards and creating a positive payment history, then I do suggest you take a look at some of the latest gas credit cards that will help save you some money at the pump. A gas credit card helps offset the ridiculous gas prices through generous rebates and cash back offers. Some of the best gas credit cards also offer a 0% APR introductory rate which can help reduce your monthly payments with your higher rate credit cards if you are carrying a lot of debt. My suggestion is that you use the credit card once and pay off the balance in full right away. Wait for the account to hit your credit reports which will add a new positive tradeline and then cut it up or sock drawer it ![]()

I will try to get one of these cards. It sounds great. Gas prices are a real pain today.
Never came across this concept of gas credit card. I mean does it work like a normal credit card or has it some other features unmatched with the normal credit card stuff.
