A few weeks ago my balance passed the $100 minimum and I received my first check from running AdSense on my blogs! Here’s a nifty picture of me in my bathrobe holding my check 
What I’ve learned about AdSense
1. Inline ads get the most clicks. It’s true. The better blended into your content, the better they will peform.
2. The less ads, the more you earn. The highest paying ads always show first which means the less ads you run, the higher average amount you will earn per click. Quality placement over quantity.
3. Experiment, and experiment again. I spent a lot of time observing visitor trends, utilizing AdSense channels and tweaking my ads for the best placement and relevancy.

I have my first adsense check for $132 on its way. took me about 2 months to get that :/
And now traffic is increasing but earnings for each click is decresing! What’s up with Google for the past week or so?
