My blog dropped to a PR0 from a PR4. Why? Well, I thought it was a robot issue at first but I just came across this article over at Search Engine Journal that confirms I am not going crazy and that Google has indeed penalized websites that appear to be buying or selling links. I have never bought a link for this site but I have certainly sold some…I mean, this blog IS about making money online last time I checked I think it’s totally ridiculous that Google is trying to slap our wrists for actually wanting to earn money…I mean isn’t that the beauty of the internet…isn’t that what Google stands for…free commerce, free exchange of information and pursuit of internet happiness? I get the point they are trying to make about people buying links to increase their SERP but why on earth are they throwing their fists around at average Joe and Janes who are just trying to make some extra cash by selling ad space on their website?
